Welcome to Quarter Mile Muscle located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We are just a few minutes North of Charlotte N.C. Here at our Corvette Shop we do complete frame off and partial restoraions on every generation of Corvette. If your looking for increased performance and handling we do install many different types of upgrades depending on what you are looking for. CORVETTE SHOP IN NC - When it comes time to get your Corvette project roadworthy again we are here to get your project on the road soon. We perform general inspections on Corvettes from front to back and top to bottom for those wondering what your Corvette project needs to be safe and reliable. During this inspection process we will note anything worn, leaking, or potentially unsafe. We do not inspect anything internal during this overall inspection. After the inspection is completed we will let you know what issues your car may have and then come up with a game plan to get these issues corrected. 

 

 

 

 

 

CORVETTE SHOP IN NC - After many years of working on and restoring Corvettes each generation has it's own issues that are common. From old vacuum systems that do not work at all to barely working this can be quite annoying. We do install new electric headlight conversions that will replace the sub-par vacuum systems that operate the flip up headlight for the C3 Corvettes. Each generation can or may have a battery drain which will result in a no start problem if they sit for very long. We can determine what is draining your battery while your car is here with us and let you know what it will take to correct the issue. If the problem is poor wiring or maybe some rodents have started to eat away at the wiring we do complete wiring replacements for each generation. A very nice upgrade for night time driving is new LED lights for your dash and gauges.

 

 

 

 

CORVETTE SHOP IN NC - Here at QMM we also upgrade tired and worn out suspensions systems for each generation of Corvette. We can also add performance minded suspension systems such as coil overs and adjustable coil overs that you can dial in the way you drive your car. From new sport leaf springs to factory correct springs we install them all. We also install new swaybars and bushings from period correct to performance upgrades. Also when it comes to brakes it is very important to have them perform at the top of their level. We do install new disc brakes and calipers for all generations.

 

 

 

 

 

CORVETTE SHOP IN NC - We also install new LS Engines and other Crate Engines. If your current engine needs a rebuild we can assist you with this as well. We convert engines from being carbureted to fuel injection for those who are tired of messing with carbs and their issues with todays gasoline. We do install hydraulic clutches with tremec transmissions for those looking to upgrade to a five or even a six speed transmission. When you need a overdrive automatic transmisssion we install them to. We will spec out your drivetrain upgrade to handle your engines horse power and torque. If you need new rear end gears we install them here on site. All work and new parts are warrantied.
